Wellbeing has become on-trend post-COVID as we struggle to maintain optimism at times with what seems like an endless disruption to life as we know it. However, some good things have come from the pandemic with flexible work now ingrained in many offices and staff finally given more choice about how and when they work.  Still, there is more that can be done in this area.

With most Australians spending about one third of their lives at work, workplaces are well placed to really move the dial on health and wellbeing.  dmca advisory, like many other workplaces, is committed to providing a supportive environment for our staff. We know that delivering outstanding service to our clients is also dependent on having happy employees.

With our new office in Dulwich now up and running, we have incorporated some features that encourage a healthy lifestyle, positive downtime, and a strong connection with others. If you visit us, you will see our pool table set up for break times, we have fruit platters available for grazing and regular team events are something everyone looks forward to.

Volunteering days to help local charities is also something that Tania and Adam have always supported as this provides team members with a strong connection to the community and the values engrained at dmca.  We passionately believe that effective workplace health and wellbeing programs enhances our productivity through increased employee engagement, better team cohesion, and a positive office culture.

We even encourage some of our clients to consider a corporate wellbeing program to improve their own business outcomes. For more information about this topic, see the news items included this month.
