The myGov one-stop portal has revolutionised the way we keep up to date with government services provided by departments like Medicare, Centrelink, Veterans’ Affairs and the ATO. However, one catch that wasn’t anticipated is that when a client ticks the box to link their ATO account to their myGov accounts they receive notices of tax assessment in their inbox, but their accountants are not kept in the loop.
