Royal Flying Doctor Service Fundraising Wrap

Every 6 months, our team chooses a charity close to our hearts to support, fundraise and raise awareness for. For the first half of this year, our team has been supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Wrapping up our fundraising efforts for RFDS, our team has raised an amazing $790, which will be generously matched by Count Charitable Foundation for a total of $1,580 towards this worthwhile cause!

Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, the RFDS works to provide 24/7 emergency aeromedical and primary health care services to anyone who lives, works or travels in regional, rural and remote Australia. With a waiting room of 7.69 million square kilometres, the RFDS provides 24-hour emergency services that can reach anywhere, no matter how remote, within hours. Combined with telehealth consultations, fly-in fly-out GP and Nurse clinics, mobile dental services, patient transfers, and a myriad of other health services, the RFDS is constantly working to see that those living in rural and remote areas can enjoy the same health outcomes as those living in city areas.
