Tell us about what you do at dmca and what you like most about it?

My role is to provide initial and ongoing holistic financial planning advice to clients. The thing I like most about my job is that I am moving from a supporting role, to one where I see clients meet their financial goals directly. It is very rewarding to develop the client relationship and go on their journey with them.

What’s the best advice you have ever been given about money and finance?

The best advice I have been given about money is that it is not just about the numbers. Money and our finances have a significant emotional and cultural component in how they blend with our lives and it is important to be sensitive to this – especially when trying to make changes.

What’s one productivity hack that you stand by

My Supernote e-ink tablet.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

I grew up in SA, but played Rugby Union growing up – now my son plays I have taken it up again.

What do you do outside work to unwind?

I walk or run my dog through some of our nearby reserves in the foothills.

What’s the one thing you can’t do without (and why)?

Exercise – without it I am grumpy :-(
